What an absolutley stunning perennial. Long curved stems (like a goose) smothered in tiny exquiste little flowers. Lady Jane is certainly an apt name. She will throw up her elegant flowers in the spring and grace you with her presence all the way through to the first frost. Tough as old boots, will withstand temps down to -20 and happily let you snip away all season long.

Surprisingly easy to germinate for a perennial which is a refreshing change - however she makes up for it by absolutely despising any form of root disturbance.

I use the mini 4 soil blocker and direct sow - as these withers and die readily when transplanted. DO NOT touch or handle the leaves of these when small seedlings - they will also bruise, wither, and then die. Basically, sow and do not touch/transplant or move until it's at least 5-10cm tall - then it’s a fairly solid plant and can be planted out, happily.
