I simply adore asters – the true late summer queens. flower heads of every size, some like petite pompoms, other like big shredded balls of ribbon, and finally big puffy balls of incurved petals almost mistaken for ‘Mums. if you couldn’t love them anymore (I actually can’t) asters have the most insane vase life (7-10 days). These laugh in the face of Dahlias. Matsumoto apricot aster is a delightful shade of peachy pink - abit smaller in size then lady coral chamois aster.
