A stunning perennial. I don’t doubt this will become one of your firm favourites over the years. tall branching stems that flower from the bottom to the top which look like fairy lights tinkling away. Verbena has a long flowering season and low maintenance needs. Superb as a cut flower.
How to make these beauties grow

Sow: Anytime.
How: Surface sow and cover lightly. If germination hasn't occured within 90 days Place in the fridge for 4 weeks, then remove. Repeat until germination has occured. Alternatively autumn sow and allow mother nature to naturally cold stratify.

Where: Full Sun
Days to Maturity: 180-365 My autumn/early winter sown plants flowered in the first year (very vigourously too! much to my pleasant surprise).
Pick: When the first few flowers are open. 7days+ vase life

Although this is called blue spires - expected more violet coloured flowers then baby blue!
To encourage a bushier plant pinch once you have 3-4 sets of true leaves. Alternatively make your first harvest a deep cut.
